David Garza is the president of the Monterrey Institute of Technology, a prestigious private university in Mexico. David Garza has held leadership positions at Monterey Tech for 35 years, including as president of the Monterey campus, director of the San Luis Potosi campus, and dean of the College of Engineering. High Tech refers to the use of cutting-edge technology, particularly customized education technology using artificial intelligence in education (AIEd). These technologies provide diagnostic technology that confirms the student's existing knowledge and educational content appropriate for the diagnosis. Therefore, students can arouse interest in education by learning at their own level and pace. Teaching and learning at the right level (student level) is the most cost-effective way to promote education, according to experts and policy makers at the 2020 Global Education Evidence Advisory Panel.
A direct complement to the High Tech element is the High Touch element provided by teachers. Using continuously updated software-provided data, teachers can tailor instruction to each student.
