Fu is the co-anchor of "Bloomberg Markets Americas" on Bloomberg Television, as well as the network's flagship markets program "What'd You Miss?"
Based in New York, Fu has moderated discussion panels and interviewed business and political leaders for Bloomberg Television, including Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo Inc. and Tony Blair, former U.K. Prime Minister. Fu covered the demise of Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers and the subsequent global credit crisis in 2008.
Before joining Bloomberg Television in 2007, Fu was a U.S. stocks editor for Bloomberg News. Prior to that, she oversaw Bloomberg News coverage of Asian equities, and reported on the handover of Hong Kong to Chinese rule in 1997. Fu began her journalism career at CNBC Asia in Hong Kong.
Fu graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in history and concentration in Asian American Studies. She has also studied Mandarin at Peking and National Taiwan Normal Universities.

xBaroness Valerie Amos is the Master of University College Oxford. She was appointed a Labour life peer in 1997 and served in the British Cabinet as Secretary of State for International Development and Leader of the House of Lords (2003-2007). She has consistently sustained an interest in, and commitment to, issues of equality and social justice. Baroness Amos’ career has spanned local and national government in the UK as well as global leadership in her role as Under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations. Baroness Amos also served as UK High Commissioner to Australia and between 1994 and 1998 worked extensively in South Africa.
Her work in the voluntary and charity sector and in non-governmental organisations has gone hand in hand with her policy and political work.
